CRAIG HOLMAN
Principal and Director

Craig is a founding member of CGP Solutions. In the course of his professional career he has been directly involved for over two decades in the telecommunications and technology industry, primarily focusing on regulatory policy and market access and licensing on behalf of his clients. He is trained as a lawyer and before co-founding CGP Solutions in 2007, practiced law privately with a large international law firm and later as in-house counsel for the Boeing Company. His practice focused then, as it does now on representing his clients’ interests before regulatory, administrative and judicial bodies around the world. While in-house with Boeing, he was instrumental in providing legal advice and support to the Connexion by Boeing business as it acquired over 200 authorizations permitting the world-wide operations of its then industry-leading aeronautical and maritime satellite communications networks.

Since leaving Boeing’s Law Department in 2007 to found CGP Solutions, Craig has continued to represent a variety of clients and their interests before telecommunications regulators and IGO’s around the world. He has obtained regulatory approvals for telecommunications networks and equipment systems. He has also been instrumental in developing international and national regulatory policy positions and recommendations supporting new and innovative applications and uses of both space and terrestrial radio spectrum for the benefit of his clients and their customers, he has also assisted his clients in complying with national legal interception laws and requirements, and advised on media regulation and data privacy protection and security matters.

 

Craig has spoken at industry conferences and contributed written articles for publication in dozens of industry journals and periodicals in the course of his career related to his regulatory practice and experience.

 

Craig is a member of the Washington State Bar, the State Bar of California and also authorized to practice before Federal District and Circuit Courts. He was educated at and holds degrees from the University of Utah, Utah State University and Brigham Young University. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
